The Ramblings of Nintenderek
This just occurred to me. If Doctor isn’t the Doctor’s real name and he has a real name besides it, then is that also true about the Master? Is there a reason the Master also keeps his name secret?

GUYS WTF IS THIS

It’s an extremely unreliable news source, that’s what it is.

entertainthisidea:

My goodness. The Doctor is really frightening me. These last two Tennant specials have really unlocked some deep dark Doctor truths. He’s really lost it. First, he says that he “stole” the Tardis from his people (what does that even mean? Is there an explanation for this line?), then he starts…

As for the stealing the TADIS thing, the explanation is that he actually did steal it.  We’ve actually known that since the second Doctor.  The second doctor was captured by the Time Lords and forced to regenerate and remain on Earth because he stole the TARDIS when he was the first Doctor.

OKAY EXCUSE YOU SWALLOWING A TIME VORTEX IS NO EXCUSE TO TAKE AWAY CHRISTOPHER ECCLESTON. NO NO NO. RUDE. INCREDIBLY RUDE. I WOULD LIKE TO REGISTER A COMPLAINT.

Nobody took away Christopher Eccleston.  He excused himself from the fandom and has made it extremely clear on multiple occasions he wants nothing to do with Doctor Who anymore.

And can we talk about the sheer amount of PTSD that Martha Jones must have had after ‘The Year that Never Was?’

Folks wanna call her whiny and useless and shit.

The woman went through hell for 365 days

The amount of emotional trauma she must have went through

But half y’all asses don’t give a shit about that. Y’all too busy shitting on her for leaving 10’s bitch ass.

That has nothing to do with why people are shitting on her.  People are “shitting on her” because she spent her entire time in the tardis whining and complaining and bitching about everything.  Yeah, she went through hell for a year, and you know, she was a pretty cool character when she returned for a couple of episodes in series 4.  But that doesn’t change the fact that she was one of the worse companions when she was actually traveling with the Doctor.

Happy has five letters
Pizza has five letters

This is no coincidence

Are you from Gallifrey? You're controlling all of my time.

Haha, that’s amazing!

Also, in other crossover news

Because someone else is doing this, and it seems fun.

Sure, why not?

I just realized

I just realized that I pretty much rate Doctor Who companions on the amount of whining and complaining they do. All the companions who didn’t whine and complain about the Doctor are some of my favorite companions (Amy, Donna, Rose, etc) while the ones who spent a majority of their time complaining (Mickey, Rory, Martha, etc) are the companions I like the least. Not sure about Clara yet though. Besides the “impossible girl” thing, there’s really nothing special about her personality and she just generally bores me.

Anyone else think Robert Downey Jr will make a good doctor?

He’s an American, so no.

So in roughly an hour I will be completely caught up on Doctor Who. That means ill have to wait to watch it each Saturday. Not sure how to feel about this…

Lucky for you, that won’t be a problem for a while since series 7’s season finale is tomorrow.

Oh wow… I didn’t realize that! :O

If you are watching on Netflix though, you aren’t actually caught up.  Most likely you missed the episodes “Planet of the Dead” and the 2010 Christmas special, that I can’t remember the name of.  You’ve also missed all of series 7 IF you are watching exclusively on Netflix.  Series 7 will probably be on Netflix at some point this year, so you’ll be able to catch up before series 8 next year (series is the British term for a season when it comes to shows) and hopefully you’ll be able to catch up before the 50th anniversary episode in November.  All of this assuming you watched on Netflix.
